Parent's involvement in children's education and learning process is important in their well being and success. There are many ways to partner with parents that will benefit children in many ways. We always encourage and invite parents to share their culture, background and traditions with class in different events. We also provide opportunities for parents to volunteer in class and activities on different occasions. Field trips are also great ways of involving parents in children's learning process. But most importantly is the open clear communication between parents and teachers that can be done through email, blogs, notes, and newsletters.
Field trips and nature walks will be taken periodically to nearby places and are considered an important part of the educational program. Field trips will be planned age appropriately and the type of transportation will vary based on discussion with parents. Parents will be notified in advance of all field trips away from the center and a separate permission slip must be signed prior to the trip. We encourage our parents to support and chaperone with us on any field trip.
